Patronage visits

We arrange a patronage visit by phone or by e-mail, the date is determined by the mother. During the meeting, the overall health of the child and mother is assessed, and if any irregularities are found, mother is informed and advised.

The midwife examines the general condition of the baby (e.g. navel, skin color, fontanel, neurological reflexes), gives information on how to care for the baby and answers mothers questions.

During the patronage visit, parents can learn, among other things, how to change diapers, bathe and feed their baby.

Midwife collects an interview from her mother and asks if she has any problems health or mental problems (e.g Baby Blues).

Then she examines the woman’s health: assesses the contraction of the uterus, breasts and perineum, or the caesarean section wounds. Finally, the midwife gives advice on how to get back to your daily activities.
