PEG care

PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) is used to nourish patients who cannot eat food by mouth. Gastrostomy is tube insertion into patient’s stomach through the abdomminal wall. In the field of Peg care, we offer changing the dressing around the stoma, help in feeding the sick person and assessing the condition of the skin at the site where the tube is inserted. Each time we perform a Peg patency control as well as the sealing balloon filling degree test.
